Hello there! Welcome to Kryssle! This is a place where I vent my fangirl feels and where I (might) communicate with my fellow fangirls. Kpop. Kdrama. Anything related to Korea, name it!. Well, I won’t use this blog as my diary. I will provide facts and information about groups and dramas I stan.

BUT, before that, I will first show just mini tips and instructions on how to write Hangul. It’s a basic and must-do for a Korean stuff enthusiasts, right?

Basic Terminologies

So, I may have used korean words. However I only used basic ones in this blog. I will give you a breakdown of what I think are basic korean terms when you’re a fangirl.

IX. AOA

AOA (an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean idol girl group signed under FNC Entertainment. AOA debuted as an seven-member girlband that consisted of Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Chanmi, Hyejeong, Seolhyun, and Mina.

I am not really fond of sexy girl groups. However, when I saw

VIII. GFriend

GFriend is a six-member South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consists of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They made their debut with the EP Season of Glass on January 16, 2015. (Wikipedia)

I have known GFriend since their debut pictures, their debut mv teaser, and their debut mv. However what attracted me most to them was

VII. BLΛƆKPIИK

Black Pink (Hangul: 블랙핑크), stylized as BLACKPINK or BLΛƆKPIИK, is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment and the first girl group to debut under the same entertainment seven years after 2NE1. The group consists of four members: Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé. They officially debuted on August 8, 2016 with the single album Square One. (Wikipedia)

Being a Blackjack (2ne1 fandom), I was stunned when I heard Papa YG was releasing a new girl group!

VI. Twice

Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show Sixteen. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group debuted on October 20, 2015, with the mini-album The Story Begins. I beginned with my journey to Twice Land when I heard of their debut song – TWICE(트와이스) “OOH-AHH하게”.

V. Red Velvet

Red Velvet  is a South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment. The group debuted on August 1, 2014, with their digital single “Happiness” and with four members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy. In March 2015, fifth member Yeri was added to the group. (Wikipedia)

Upon hearing that SM was releasing another girl group next to f(x), I was shocked and at the same time, very excited.

IV. Miss A

Miss A  is a South Korean-Chinese girl group based in South Korea formed by JYP Entertainment in 2010. Their group name stands for Miss Asia and the highest rank, A. The group currently consists of three members: Fei, Min, and Suzy. Their fourth member Jia, left the group in May 2016 following her contract expiration. (Wikipedia)
